Bit Bang Seminar – welcome and find out what the digitalised world will look like in 2025!

Bit Bang – Rays to the Future is a post-graduate course on the broad long term impacts of the information and communications technologies on lifestyles, society and businesses. During the Fall semester the course had focus on four interesting technology trends until 2025. The Bit Bang course is part of TKK’s multidisciplinary MIDE Program. The students come from all units of the future Aalto University, TKK, HSE and UIAH.

The students have been working in multidisciplinary groups and have produced roadmaps describing the development and impacts of digitalization until the year 2025. They will be presenting their work on the following four fields: processors and memories, telecommunication and networks, printable electronics and carbon nanostructures.

The Bit Bang seminar will be held the 17th of December 2008 at TKK Computer Science Building (T-talo) Lecture room T2, Konemiehentie 2, at 11.45 am – 16.30 pm. Seminar program details are here enclosed.
